Ka Ulu Laʻau
We Propagate To Educate
Aloha mai kākou! Ka Ulu Laʻau was created to, one save our Native Hawaiian plants, two to propagate to educate. I feel that we need more education on Native Hawaiian plants. To learn to identify our Laʻau, how our ancestors used it for medicine before western medicine was used in Hawaiʻi. The benefits of health conditions, healing and for food. Our nursery is located on the island of Oahu in the ahupuaʻa of Waiheʻe. Here in Waiheʻe ʻĀina Momona we are fortunate to have water that flows down from the Koʻolaupoko Range that feeds our plants. My purpose in life is to share my ʻike with our Makua, Keiki so our Native Hawaiian plants will be saved. Mahalo Ke Akua
